How does automatic top-up work?

You set a threshold and an amount: as soon as the balance falls below the threshold, the amount is charged to the card you designated.

Updated
  1. 1Settings › Budget and billing › Billing, then scroll down to the Automatic top-up block.
  2. 2Flip the switch to On: that is what makes the fields editable.
  3. 3Enter the trigger threshold, then the top-up amount. The amount must exceed the threshold by at least 50 €, otherwise saving is refused.
  4. 4Choose the card to charge, then save. If it is declined, the next ones are tried.
This is the best way to avoid a campaign stopping mid-day. An email alert also warns you when the balance drops, whether automatic top-up is on or not: that alert threshold is computed by the platform and is not set here.
After three consecutive card declines, automatic top-up disarms itself and an email tells you so. Fix the card, then switch it back On: saving resets the failure counter.
