Contact details are encrypted in our database (AES-256-GCM, dedicated key). That protects your leads if our database were ever compromised: the values are unreadable without the key, which is not stored there.
This encryption is not an obstacle for you: in your work queue the name, phone and address are shown directly, and the phone number is click-to-call. You paid for these leads in order to call them.
Not all of your users see them, however. A separate capability governs the display of contact details, and the Accounting role does not have it: it gets no access to leads at all, only volumes and amounts. Team scoping applies on top of that, on every read.
That same capability decides everywhere, not only on screen: an export or a Google Sheets delivery run by a user who lacks it goes out WITHOUT contact details, rather than failing. The file arrives complete on volumes and silent on identities, which tends to be noticed late if nobody announced it.
