Your invoices, downloadable, with the VAT detail applied.
What it is for
Giving your accountant what they expect, without going through us. An invoice is issued at each top-up, not per lead: you buy credit, then you consume it.
How to use it
- VAT depends on your country, your number and your entity. A French company pays French VAT, unless it falls under the insurance entity: a French broker registered with ORIAS is exempt. A European company outside France is not charged VAT: the invoice carries the reverse-charge wording, and declaring it in your member state is down to you.
- Your number is not checked against the European register. We check its shape, not its existence. A missing or malformed number does not get you charged VAT either: the invoice goes out untaxed, with the wording saying it falls to you to put things right. Either way the correction is yours, and an issued invoice cannot be reissued. So check the number in Settings before topping up.
- Free credit does not appear. A promotional code is not a purchase: there is nothing to invoice, so nothing to deduct.
- The invoice reflects the top-up, not consumption. To see where the money went, use the Consumption summary, in the Billing menu.
Step by step: preparing your accounts
- Check your VAT number first in Settings. A correction only applies to future invoices.
- Find the month you need. This screen groups invoices by month and has no period filter. Picking a period, across twelve months, is done on the Consumption summary.
- Download the PDFs. They carry the legal wording matching your tax situation.
- Reconcile against the Consumption summary if a gap appears between what you paid and what you consumed: unspent balance stays yours, it is not lost.
- Write to support about any anomaly before handing anything to your accountant: an invoice is corrected by credit note, which takes longer than a question asked straight away.
