Manage company details, your profile, security and colleague access.
Simplified mode opens Members directly. In expert mode, Teams & members opens a menu for teams, members, roles and assignment. Budget and billing opens a separate menu for billing, invoices and usage.
What it is for
Deciding who sees what. On a one-person account this page is set once and forgotten. As soon as you are three, it decides who can buy, who can see a prospect's contact details, and who receives which leads.
How to use it
- Company details are not editable here. Registered name, VAT, address: they bind your invoices. Support changes them for you, the link is on the page.
- A team is a reading scope. Its members only see leads from the verticals and campaigns attached to it.
- A role is a set of permissions. The role decides what you can do, the team what you can see. The two combine.
- Automatic assignment distributes incoming leads to your sales people, by rule. That is the tab to open when several people are calling.
Step by step: opening the account to a new sales person
- Invite them by email from the Members tab. They choose their own password: you never know a single one.
- Give the narrowest role that lets them work. Widening is easy; narrowing means upsetting someone.
- Attach them to a team, always. A Manager or Sales rep with no team at all sees nothing: the fallback is to show nothing rather than everything, and they will report a bug. An invitation from the directory places them in the default team; the Teams screen then narrows what they see. Only the Owner, Administrator and Accounting see the whole company whatever their teams.
- Check two-factor authentication. An account with access to prospect contact details deserves a second factor: the Members directory carries the marker on each card, so it tells you who lacks one.
- Add them to an assignment rule so they receive their share of incoming leads, rather than fishing in the shared queue.
