What do the eight lead statuses mean?

To handle, unreachable, invalid, unqualified, valid, appointment, converted, cancelled. They describe your handling, not our delivery.

Updated
  1. 1To handle: the lead has been delivered and its follow-up status has not been updated. Opening its details does not change the status.
  2. 2Unreachable : several call attempts with no answer.
  3. 3Invalid : wrong or unusable contact details.
  4. 4Unqualified : reachable, but outside your target.
  5. 5Valid : contact made and relevant.
  6. 6Appointment : a meeting is booked.
  7. 7Converted : the sale is closed. An amount is required, and you can record several on the same lead: the total makes the conversion.
  8. 8Cancelled : the person cancelled their purchase afterwards.
Keep statuses up to date to find records needing follow-up and make your conversion, cost-per-sale and reachability statistics reflect your activity.
A lead that is converted and then cancelled no longer counts in your conversion rates: the amount stays visible, but the sale is not counted.
